@mike excellent piece of work

Is it worth putting a reason why we missed the £5m 2019 revenue target then the 2020 target was only £1.5m?

That’s a question I would ask if I was thinking of investing?

Also maybe the increase in headcount?

Don’t mean to sound like a nit picker but it’s spelt Jetsynthesys- just in case potentials want to google them?

Thanks. Jetsynthesys typo fixed. Will look to add something on employees tomorrow unless anyone wants to summarise.

May also be worth adding something around cash burn rates if anyone has anything less speculative on that (evidence based)

Will have a listen to what JD said on the interview and put some better comment on that point though

Something that crops up alot in the bears argument is why wouldn't game publishers just bring IGA in-house and do it themselves. Why do they need bids etc.

We know some probably will (Activision and Miniclip maybe), but we also know many won't, and for a good number of reasons. Might be worth listing them?

That is one good reason. Although when people ask why don't game publishers just do it themselves, I don't think they are talking about a hard coded solution, they are talking about offering what bids offer.

I was thinking it would be good to have a list, even if to hit the likes of Earl of Wisdom with, who is always a ray of sunshine.

1. Bids doing all the heavy lifting technically and all the relationship building with the DSP's. All the game publisher has to do is integrate the SDK and collect their 70-80% cheque. No risk, no need to employee a team of people, no development costs.

2. Game publishers want to build games. The advertising world and the gaming world are two different beasts. Bids is the conduit.

3. Measurement / tracking of impressions: Would DSP's and ad eco systems want to integrate multiple game publishers inventory, with multiple standards of ad measurement and impression tracking? No. They want the big number of impressions packaged up to unlock the big spend. Most game publishers individually do not have the volume of impressions to unlock this big spend on their own. Bids are working on standardising the ad category and standardising what is recognised universally as an impression.

I'm sure the above could be worded better and if anybody else can add. Something about Pubguard maybe. Might not belong on the thread, just a thought, as the 'why don't game publishers just do it themselves' argument is something that comes up more frequently than anything else with investors who are running the bear case.

There is also the secondary viewing market. Integrating with Twitch etc. Almost impossible to imagine every game developer doing it on their own and a nightmare headache for Amazon to manage.
