I scan LSE for WSKR's posts and sort the wheat from Aiden's chaff by scanning ADVFN (so you don't have to ), but yes, this is an oasis of investment discussion.

They look but they don't touch Bidlievers.

Sorry only seeing this now! Been busy with work, yes I posted quite a bit at a time on advfn but very rarely venture there now, interesting to see Herald take a position in the placing, hopefully the start of better times ahead for us all!

Jamy Nagri giving insight into how the virtual Le Mans can be monetized.

Point 2 is interesting - (inserting pixel perfect virtual objects) not seen that one before and wonder if it links back to his time at Bidstack?

'The large tent pole franchises —- NBA2k, Madden, FIFA etc — have pre-existing agreements. These supersede ad insertion agreements.'

Is he saying NBA, Madden and FIFA all have pre-existing agreements that prevent in-game advertising? That doesn't sound good

Yes it definitely reads that way. Although the F1 Esports guy at the Future of Gaming event mentioned that NBA were testing the edges of their commercial agreement with Nike by putting other brands in the game and doing okay with that.

We have also discussed in the past that VOLTA and FIFA Ultimate Team would be able to circumvent these licenses for FIFA as it’s their own IP and the teams are fantasy based.

He's saying the pre existing agreements improve upon and take the place of ad insertion agreements. Don't think that's what he meant to say though, doesn't make sense.

Dynamic advertising will find a way to supersede one size fits all, in all sizes of games, eventually. Now that does make sense!
