I'm not familiar with a lot of these titles but I can think of 3 which would work: Watchdogs, roller champions (as suggested by lukehold) and the crew.

My hope is that we're flogging advertising space in the upcoming watchdogs game however Ubisoft might want to test ads in one of their existing games first.

I think 'the crew' would work as a test game as it already has a ton of fake advertisements in it. Take a look at virtual times Square for example:

The Crew would be amazing. Those Times Square spots are absolutely crying out for real ads. In fact, as it looks in that clip it just feels wrong. Times Square *should* be advertising real world products.

Thanks @28 Days Draper I’ve never looked at that game. Does seem a good fit, is it an open world type games too?

Roller Champions has a live Free alpha Version out last time I checked.

It's actually a decent game, completely open world with the entire USA as the map albeit with only certain cities rendered in detail (La, Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Chicago plus a few more).

I've seen footage of roller champions but sadly didn't spot any ads. I wonder at what stage of the game development ads would be introduced, maybe at the beta stage?

I had a go at the Alpha of Roller Champions and there were no ads

So i've narrowed down the current released list to 11 franchises based on game type liklihood.

In order of most suitable (IMO):

The Crew

Trackmania Turbo

Trials (any)

Steep - X Games* (Skiing)

Monopoly PLUS

Watch_Dogs (any)

Tom Clancy (any)

Far Cry (any)

Uno

POD Gold

Speed Buster

what are the user stats (DAUs) for The Crew?

Frankly, with Dirt 5 being (I imagine) a directly similar competitor to The Crew it would be a pretty easy sell, wouldn't it?

And 'actively selling ads into' reads to me as if this is not a single test campaign, but lots of brands...?

Not sure re DAU's, the amount of users for console games tends to be a bit of an unknown. I think most users would play on console but if it's also available on PC, steam may show user stats? In any case I would assume that it's probably less than football manager.

4000 concurrent. It is the kind of game more likely played on console imo.

I couldn't resist it :)

4000 DAUs @ £7 CPM, 3 ads per session (look at all those bill boards!), Bids margin at 20%...

(4 * 7 * 3 * 365 * 0.2) = £6,132 for Bidstack per year. Should keep them in toast.

(clearly tongue in cheek...)
