"The powerful thing about #gaming as an ad category" glad to see the new ad category is now recognised even if it's just by bidstack themselves!

I guess it can't be too far off and I don't think we'll achieve our revenue target without the ad category, so it's got to be a priority.

I remember JD saying that they were getting close on a podcast a few months ago but there hasn't been much reference to it in the recent rns's so who knows!

I think the ad category and Gold Standard are the Barnes Wallis which will break the dam.

March 30th podcast JD said “very close” to getting it done. Three months should be adequate to satisfy “very close” but who knows. This is the one piece of news which can not in any way be under any NDA. If it is not literally just around the corner (next week eg) then he must update us on progress and expected timelines. He absolutely linked the ramping of revenues in H2 with the Gold Standard.

I personally could not see any significant news in the next couple of weeks.

JD tried and failed to push up the spare prices with all these name hints in the last two rns before the placing, if there was any significant news in the pipeline, he would have waited I would think.

Really hoping I am wrong.

Yeah it's hard to say, but if he released good news before the raise, the effect would be largely subdued. Plus, this way around he gets a good price for the insiders/mates/and what we hope will be some long term investors. Hope he holds fire until the flippers are out, and I agree that unlocking the new ad category could really be the catalyst needed to bring everything together and scale up.

Yeah I considered this today.

How shite would it be if a big announcement pre-placing was drowned out by the usual vitriol of funding needs.

Epic and The Trade Desk fell on death ears last year because the market didn’t understand the relevance.

Ubi, miniclip and EA are so easy to understand but that’d send the share price up above Stifel’s target price which would make a raise even more difficult with the ‘right’ people.

I do wonder if Stifel handicapped Bids with the price target a little.
