Current Share Price Talk

Post by mike »

The share price has dipped again this morning (currently down 8.3%) but nice to see that there is still some support.

A large 197,795 buy came in at 10:57am

Other boards predicting this will drop to 2p and encouraging people to sell to buy in at such a low price. Dangerous game if you ask me.

2p. Giving BIDS a MCAP of just under £4.9M. An interesting theory.

First of all, let's give full benefit of the doubt to these magnificent 2p prophets. This is AIM. Death-spiral financing is the game. Yes, should BIDS choose to raise funds in the market with chop-shop forward selling institutions then a placing at a discount of the current SP is in the works.

To raise just another £5M at 4p a share 100M shares will need to be issued.

With 344,873,646 in issue, to maintain our current MCAP of £15M, the SP would sit at around 4.4p. This is without factoring in the stability that another £5M in the bank would provide.

Let's try something a little bit crazier. To raise £10M at 3p a share (a 50% discount) 333M shares will need to be issued.

With 578,206,979 in issue, to maintain our current MCAP of £15M, the SP would sit at around 2.5p. Well... we almost got to 2p. But let's say just that market sentiment is hugely depressed because of the recent dilution. The £12M in the bank is completely ignored and the MCAP slips another 20% to £12M. Let's value ourselves at quite literally the money in the bank. Viola, 2p a share achieved. The prophets were right.

But perhaps we are a little bit wiser than an average turkey. Perhaps when we invest a decent sum of our hard-earned cash in a company we like to do a bit of research rather than act on blind faith.

There is a huge array of information that has now been analysed in-depth on this forum that properly highlights just how far ahead of the competition we stand but seeing as we are doing the numbers lets look at our closest publicly traded rival: Adverty.

Bidstack have been continuously attacked over the last year because of their low revenue figures. This is largely due to broker figures and what has been said by management. Agreed. Let's move on.

£150k for the year. So £26K H1, £124K H2. Ultimately, with the very limited inventory we have, we are looking for growth. 400% increase in H2.

How does this measure up against Adverty? Well, it's all publicly available:

https://adverty.s3.eu-central-1.amazona ... f7869e.pdf

Adverty:
Marketcap: 115M SEK -> £9M
Revenues for 2018: 46,000 SEK -> £3,639
Revenues for 2019: 187,000 SEK -> £14,827
Revenues for Q4 of 2019: 11,000 SEK -> £871

Impressive.

At the end of the day, it is so easy to skim over some BBs and form a quick opinion based on past share performance and general market behaviours. There are many reasons people make low-ball predictions on BBs and anyone reading them and being swayed by these comments (whether invested or about to invest) are probably not suited to be putting their money into startups in the first place.

WSKR - The Revenue figures estimated in original broker note have turned out to be a massive thorn in JD's side.

People aren't appreciating the company are developing a product.

Your Adverty comparison shows how hard the journey can be.

Let's not forget that the timeline changed as soon as the company decided to drop the API and develop the SDK....along with potential revenue as deals were done with present gaming companies (i.e. codemasters) to support the development/design/integration of the SDK.

In my view, JD went wrong in thinking he could still hit the figures - relying on a one off deal. (Not helping by using the revenue in H2 smoke screen to later reveal only test revenues in H1 - could of used a straight bat on that one. Would be interesting to know one day how much those who took part in the placing knew - Maybe the whole lot, hence the run up of share price, so they can offload a percentage. Who know's?)

Can't wait to see the company making regular monthly income - will make such a difference to overall opinion of the company.

very quiet with bids this morning as the market tries to decide what it thinks about the effects of Covid19.

In some respects I am happy that there seems to be little appetite to sell at this level, again it tends to suggest that holders are willing to hold for a higher price. How long and how hard they hold will be the key to pushing the price up as soon as there is demand stimulus.
keeping an eye on trades, but also aware that we are now in a different position than a few weeks ago......and waiting
